Our Symbol – Nautilus Shell

Long considered nature’s epitome of perfection, beauty, creativity, growth and strength, the Nautilus shell perfectly symbolises many aspects of life.

The shell is perfectly formed in the Golden Ratio, based on the Fibonacci Sequence and seen in different forms of nature. As the creature within the shell grows, it creates a new larger section of the shell to move into. It closes off the old section yet still utilises it for floatation and ocean movement at depth. We drew immediate comparisons with the evolving needs of the modern individual and family unit, requiring new space as they grow and progress as life dictates. The Nautilus is also a symbol of spiritual growth, looking to the future, expanding our knowledge, being creative and seeking to improve our life without looking back.
